Meet The Team

  • Dan Read - Co-Founder

    In 2023, I joined the ENITY team to work alongside Fin in creating a unique brand for the sporting world.
    At Enity Hockey, we are passionate about developing a distinctive brand and concept that pushes the boundaries of what's possible in sports apparel. Both Fin and I are avid hockey players with a shared drive for comfortable, high-quality sportswear that delivers on performance.
    Background
    I started ice hockey 3 years ago in Coventry and immediately ell in love with the sports both watching and playing. Fast track to 2025 I am now in Leeds Playing for Leeds Warriors and trying for Kingston Reapers. I also spend my Mondays as a foundation coach for Leeds Junior Knights learning the basics but also developing future players.
    I opened up Enity Hockey to help new players into the sport and guide them to what is good and how to be a great player. I. have a dream one day to play in the National League and develop as a player and coach

Jacob Midgley Goalie Specialist

Jacob, affectionately known around the rink as "Midge," became part of the team in 2025, bringing with him a wealth of experience and a passion for goaltending. His role is twofold: sharing his specialized knowledge of the goalie position and acting as a welcoming presence in the shop on weekends. Whether he's offering expert advice on gear or chatting with customers about the latest games, Midge is a familiar and trusted figure in the hockey community.

Midge’s background in the sport is both diverse and impressive. He has played and worked with several teams across different levels of UK hockey, including the Blackburn Hawks, the Bradford Bulldogs (NIHL 2), the Leeds Knights (NIHL 1), and the Leeds Junior Knights U18s. This wide-ranging experience has given him a deep understanding of the game from both a player and coaching perspective, particularly when it comes to the unique demands of goaltending.

His commitment to the sport and approachable personality make him a valuable asset to the team and a favourite among players and parents alike.
