About Enity Hockey

Enity Hockey began in Coventry as a clothing brand before developing into a wider sportswear business. Initially, the business focused predominantly on sportswear, but after recognising the highly competitive nature of the market and the difficulty of competing with established brands, the business took a six-month break and returned with a new direction: Enity Hockey.

The new identity embraced both the people behind the business and our passion for ice hockey.

Following a move to Leeds, the business developed into an ice hockey-focused operation, initially operating from a small shop within a living room. It quickly became clear that to grow, develop supplier relationships and offer customers a wider range of products, the business needed to progress into commercial premises.

Enity Hockey was established with a simple purpose: to help people understand ice hockey and make the sport more accessible.

We aim to support people who are completely new to the sport, beginners who need guidance, experienced players looking for equipment and families trying to understand what their child actually needs.

What Makes Enity Hockey Different?

Our primary focus is used ice hockey equipment.

Ice hockey can be an expensive sport. Players and families face costs associated with equipment, ice time, travel, training and games. We believe the cost of equipment should not be the reason someone cannot participate.

Used equipment allows customers to access better-quality equipment at a more affordable price than buying equivalent products brand new.

At the same time, we are helping prevent quality hockey equipment from sitting unused in cupboards or ultimately going to landfill.

Our philosophy is simple:

You don't need the most expensive equipment to become a great hockey player.

When someone is starting out, we would rather help them find suitable, affordable equipment than encourage them to purchase the most expensive products available.

We want to be a trusted point of contact for anyone who is unsure about what equipment they need, where to find it, how to get involved in ice hockey or how to progress within the sport.

Affordability is central to our mission. We aim to price our products fairly and consistently while maintaining enough margin to generate a sustainable profit that can be reinvested into the business and the community around us.

We are not trying to claim that we are going to be “the best ice hockey business in the country.”

Our Grading Standards

Every item we list is graded using clear condition ratings so you know exactly what you're getting:

• Like New — Minimal to no signs of use. May have been tried on or used for a very short period. Looks and performs like new.
• Good — Light signs of use with normal wear. Fully functional with no structural issues. A solid, reliable piece of kit.
• Fair — Visible signs of use and wear, but still performs well. Great value for players on a budget or for practice use.
• Spares / Repairs — Items with notable wear or minor issues, listed clearly. Best for experienced buyers who know what they're working with.

We always include photos showing actual condition, and we describe any specific marks, scuffs, or quirks in the product listing. No surprises.
